Alloggi Agli Artisti, Venice

This good value for money geusthouse/hotel in the heart of Venice is only 150 metres from the main central Venice train station (Santa Lucia) and close to the Grand Canal. The rooms are bright and attractive, and are located on 4 floors (no lift), including 3 new, en suite rooms on the ground floor for those with reduced mobility. All are well-equipped and spacious. Start the day with a rich buffet breakfast, or relax in the wonderful living room with a small bar, which is open throughout the day. The hotel is ideally located close to the train station and heart of town life, and yet in a tranquil area where you can appreciate the silence of this city without cars. In the area, will find the famous Canal Grande and typical Venetian glasses, food shops, internet points, laundries, pubs and restaurants. Most importantly, just 20 minutes walk from the hotel is the world-famous St Mark's Square.
